Gameboydrice is a project of Eugene Voronovsky, also known for his work as Cisfinitum. “Selden” is the soundtrack for a film of the same name, which is based on the Hound of Baskervilles by Conan Doyle. The music has roots in old silent film scores, yet with some modern experimental twists. Exotica, plunderphonics, and sense of the absurd prevail throughout.

Robert Bush

Robert Bush started his musical career as singer in punk combo Anus in 1978.

They were locally successful but more of a happening than a real group as their musical skills were below average and the band rather drank beer than rehearsed. In 1979 Robert heard Gary Numan and immediately felt that synthersizers was his thing, quickly forming a synth-pop band called Plaza. They made several live performances and studio sessions but nothing was released on vinyl. After short appearances in less successful groups, Robert formed Sob! Sob! in 1983. This duo lasted until the early 90's.

Robert set up a studio in his home in 1994 and made a mixture of techno and ambient music which resulted in the 5-track EP Myrtorp in 1996.

Constantly adding new equipment while not throwing out the old gear, Robert Bush continued making the type of IDM electronica he's known for today, flirting with minimal house and more abstract music as side projects, which has resulted in EPs Probe, Smeby and SW13. Robert Bush also worked as a radio DJ for several years before winning the Swedish National Championships in Beer Brewing in 1996. This led to a new career as brewmaster/head brewer meaning he was releasing new beer brands as well as music.

The debut album “Upskirted” was released in October 2009 on Undefined Sounds.

As a Seattle-based music producer and DJ my musical journey began as a child living in Europe by making primitive mixtapes of euro-pop, funk, and disco using cassettes and records. After moving back to the states I was introduced to punk, rock, electro, and hip-hop. My unique sound style and solid mixing skills have enabled me the opportunity to DJ in Europe, South America, Canada, as well as all over the US. I am currently producing dance-intended music (tech house and techno) as well as traveling and DJing weekly with Joe Parker (DJ Wendall) - we met while living and DJing in NYC and formed the AUDIO PRODUCTION and DJ DUO entitled AURORA DIVING CLUB.

If I’m to throw my music into the public domain then you deserve a brief history… Born in the jungles of south east London I spent the formative years of my life in various trailers and on building sites across London and Kent. From Catford to Biggin Hill we roamed, settling finally in the Weald of Kent where my education was completed and my life skills honed. Finally my parents abandoned me in a basket at Gatwick airport and sent me out into the big wide world. New York, Lanzarote, Tooting. These exotic locations became the backgrounds to the drama of my life. Fire breathing, juggling, potato picking. These became the means to my end. I spent many years following the path of the ‘New Age Traveller’ fighting hopelessly for my ‘right’ to party, spinning funky house music for the masses, forming a sound system called Aphrodisiac that would spread groove to the masses. My ancient Bedford bus took me from free party to festival. Warehouses, farmyards, clubs and forests. Across Europe and finally to the hills of Portugal, where it quietly died leaving a shell that became a shed that held the tools that built my house out of stones. Lots of stones. I’ve been around the world and back. I’ve met Buddha, Carl Cox and Max (from Bristol). I became a father, a son, a carpenter, a surfer. And now it seems – a musician of sorts. The tale continues…

Abassi All Stars - Zion Train

The Abassi All Stars is a collective of musicians based around neil perch’s Zion Train recording studio in Cologne. The project is co-ordinated by neil and has been recording for release on his Deep Root and Universal Egg labels. The current participants are neil perch, dave hake (trumpet), bigga (trombone) and richard doswell (saxophone and flute) – the latter three are also known as the Zion Train brass section.

Vocalists who have contributed include Beenie Man (Jamaica), Tippa Irie (UK), Prince David (Italy), Carton Livingston (Jamaica), Lua (Germany), Minoo (Germany), Moses (UK), Fitta Warri (Jamaica), Junior Kigwa (Rwanda). Dubdadda (UK), Sis Sanae (Japan), Kenny Knots (UK), Empress Rasheda (UK), Earl 16 (Jamaica), Omar Perry (Jamaica), Daddy Root (Anguilla) and Luciano (Jamaica).

2006 saw the album debut from the All Stars entitled 'Showcase' and released on Universal Egg Records (WWCD/LP041). 2007 saw the dub companion to this release being issued - 'Dub Showcase' and this is also available on Universal Egg Records (WWCD/LP044) both as a CD edition and a double vinyl edition. 2007 and 2008 saw the release of several 10 inches on the Deep root imprint and 2009 heralded new works featuring Abassi collaborations with dub producers from around the globe. -- one love one heart
